Yoga Trance Dance

Namaste!

There's never been an easier to time to catch one of my classes at Living Yoga. I'll be teaching my heart out over the next few weeks as Max Thomas, our beloved teacher here in the high desert recuperates from knee surgery.

As I'm sure my current students will attest, my practice and therefor my teaching has been infused over the past months by my recent teacher's training with Shiva Rea in yoga trance dance. Shiva's approach to trance dance is so hot right now its even featured on the recent cover of Yoga Fit magazine and an accompanying article in which Shiva invites us to discover "the dance in our yoga and the yoga in our dance."

Concurrently to practicing yoga trance dance, my life continues to unfold in amazing ways that I never could have imagined. Its as if simply shaking my body up through the free-flowing movements has unlocked all kinds of blocks in my personal and professional unfolding. I'm finding all kinds of opportunities to teach and share these practices, locally, and throughout the Southwest as the enthusiasm for this practice grows.
